Courts of Day & Night: The Manors of Prythian Set
From the high towers of the Night Court to the sun-drenched estates of Day. For this custom 10-piece commission, titled "The Manors of Prythian," we stepped into Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses universe. This design captures the grand architecture and mythic estates of Prythian through illuminated stained-glass panoramic murals, star sapphire shimmer, moss agate translucence, and gilded blade reliquaries.
The Consultation: Fae Duality & Elongated Silhouettes
The layout harmonizes the split aesthetic of Prythian's high courts across both hands. We selected an elongated Long Stiletto shape to emulate the sharp, towering spires of faerie castles and the deadly elegance of Illyrian blades.

The Court Palette: The left hand channels the Night Court with deep midnight blues, twilight indigos, soft lavenders, and silver starlight shimmer. The right hand reflects the Day and Spring Courts, featuring mossy forest greens, sunlit amber creams, and warm golden hues.

Star Sapphire & Moss Agate Bases: The outer nails and thumbs feature deep jelly mineral depths—star sapphire night skies and deep moss agate greens—layered beneath metallic foil and starlight.
The Craft: Cathedral Stained Glass & Gilded Blades
Translating high-fantasy architecture and celestial weaponry onto a miniature scale required multi-paneled leadwork lining and translucent jelly gel building.

Panoramic Manor Murals: Across the center nails of each hand, connected four-nail stained-glass murals depict rolling estates, majestic castle spires, mountain ranges, a radiant crescent moon, and an illuminated sun. Each individual pane is outlined in micro-fine black gel leadwork to mimic authentic antique cathedral glass.

Gilded Reliquary Daggers: The thumb and accent nails feature hand-painted gold daggers entwined with leafy vines, celestial starbursts, and radiant auras floating above deep cosmic backdrops.

Luminous Jelly Depth: Fine glitter underlays and translucent stained-glass gel formulas allow light to pass directly through the estates and skies, creating a radiant glow.
