A royal ball gown brought to life. For this custom 10-piece commission, titled "Danielle de Barbarac," we drew inspiration from the iconic masquerade ball gown worn in Ever After: A Cinderella Story. This design mirrors the delicate embroidery, shimmering silk, and beaded filigree of Renaissance court fashion.

The Consultation: Champagne Silk & Luminous Pearls

The design blueprint relies on soft metallic reflections, fine-line lace, and pearl embellishments. We selected a Medium, Almond shape to give the set an elegant, elongated silhouette that matches haute couture gown structures.

• The Ivory Silk Palette: The base features a shimmering champagne-pearl coat with subtle satin reflections.

• Intricate Lace Framework: Soft white and muted gold lace borders cascade across the nails, emulating embroidered sleeves and corset trimmings.

The Craft: Hand-Painted Filigree & Jewel Clusters

Bringing period-piece embroidery to life required a detailed combination of metallic liner work, raised lace gel, and gem placement.

• The Masquerade Bodice Centerpiece: The thumb nails act as the focal point, featuring dense crystal layouts embedded over a semi-translucent base, mimicking a heavily beaded corset gown.

• Gold Leaf Embroidery: As shown in the video, our artists used microscopic fine liners to hand-paint antique gold filigree, lace trims, and delicate floral scrolls across the satin base.

• Pearl & Rhinestone Accents: Tiny white pearls and sparkling silver micro-studs are placed strategically along the lace borders and arches, giving the illusion of hand-stitched beadwork.
