The Consultation: Moonlight and Magic

The vision for this set was all about "Kawaii" sophistication. Our client wanted a tribute to Usagi and her faithful companion, Luna, but with a background that felt as ethereal as a lunar sunset.

• The Shape & Length: We went with a Natural Squoval shape to maintain a sweet, playful look that is perfect for daily wear.

• The Color Story: We utilized a soft-focus gradient of bubblegum pink, lavender, and sky blue to recreate the iconic watercolor skies of the Sailor Moon series.

The Transformation: Celestial Artistry

Bringing this celestial vision to life required a mix of photorealistic character work and delicate 3D accents.

• Hand-Painted Icons: The centerpieces of the set are the hand-painted portraits of Usagi and Luna. Using microscopic detail, we captured Usagi’s bright-eyed optimism and Luna’s protective gaze, staying true to the original character designs.

• 3D Gold Accents: To add a touch of royal luxury, we incorporated raised gold crescents and celestial starbursts. These 3D elements catch the light, mimicking the gold hardware of Usagi’s transformation brooches.

• The Dreamscape Texture: We layered white "grid" patterns and soft-focus sparkles over the pastel gradients to give the nails a tactile, "retro-tech" anime feel.

• Constellation Detailing: Micro-gold beads were placed with precision to create delicate chains and star patterns, making the set feel like an intricate piece of jewelry.
